    Chicago Exhibit Productions, Inc. (CEP) is a full-service provider of 3-Dimensional marketing solutions for the tradeshow industry, corporate events, and retail displays and environments. Our focus is to exceed our client’s expectations.

    Position Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business relationships and business opportunities for the company in the following areas:
    • Design & Fabrication of Custom Exhibits
    • Sale or Rental of our Aluminum Extrusion System Exhibits
    • Rental Exhibit Projects
    • Portable & Modular Exhibits
    • General Contracting, Corporate and Special Event Planning
    • Museums, Retail Design and Fabrication, and Show Room Environments
    • Labor (I&D) services

    Key responsibilities:

    1. Build Client Relationships

    ▪ Identify future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with current and potential clients.
    ▪ Service and expand the revenue base of any existing accounts that may be assigned by CEP at its discretion.
    ▪ Coordinate presentations and responds to requests for proposals.
    ▪ Prospect in person at shows and markets as may be assigned to you.

    2. Maintain Customer Relations

    ▪ Develop and maintain relationships with current customers.
    ▪ Respond to customer inquiries.
    ▪ Attend job launches.

    3. Plan and Direct Projects

    ▪ Meet with clients to determine client requirements.
    ▪ Prepare and manage all project budgets.
    ▪ Keep current on new techniques and procedures in the exhibit industry.
    ▪ Identify problems and opportunities for improvement/cost savings.

    4. Service Client Accounts

    ▪ Function as liaison between client and company’s departments.
    ▪ Service client accounts from inception.
    ▪ Follow-up on A/R account management issues as needed.
    ▪ Maintain targeted profit margins on all sales according to the line of business.

    5. Prepare Reports

    ▪ Collect, analyze, and summarize information to maintain accurate files on clients.
    ▪ Maintain an accurate record of all accounts, as well as regularly updating our SMART+ (ExhibitForce) database with prospecting lists for those shows, markets, and/or accounts as may be assigned to you.

    6. Communication

    ▪ Lead internal pre and post sales meetings to ensure understanding of client and project needs.
    ▪ Interact with company employees to share information for proposal generation, job costing and serving clients.

    Position Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business or Marketing, preferred.
    2. 1-3 years exhibit industry related sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and construction experience.
    3. Ability to thrive with minimal guidance and oversight, initiative-taking, and able to solve problems.
    4. Effective communication and multi-tasking skills with service orientation experience.
    5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
    7. Professional Attitude and Etiquette.
    8. 20-30% domestic travel.
